About Kin Health
Health, at the family level.
In India and Southeast Asia, one adult child quietly manages the health of an aging parent, a partner, and their own kids — from across a city, sometimes across a continent. Kin Health is built for that adult child.
What we do
You scan a prescription or lab report. We turn it into a plain-language explanation, set the reminders, and remember it forever. You can do this for yourself and for anyone in your family. That is the whole product.
What we will never do
- We will not prescribe, diagnose, or triage. Those are jobs for a registered medical practitioner.
- We will not sell you medicine, nor will we ever take money from companies that do.
- We will not train AI models on your medical documents. We will not retain them on third-party AI servers.
- We will not lock your data in. If you want to leave, you can export everything in one tap.
Why this exists
In the countries we serve, family is the primary unit of healthcare. Decisions are made across kitchens, WhatsApp groups, and hospital waiting rooms. There has never been a tool that treats those conversations as the thing to support. Most health apps are built for a single user making a single decision. That is not how families work.
A caregiver juggling three labs, two specialists, and a shoebox of paper deserves better than a blurry photo forwarded at 11 pm. That is the gap we are closing.
Where we are
We are a small team, based in India, building for India first. Our v1 scope covers prescriptions and lab reports across English, Hindi, and Tamil — with discharge summaries and more document types on the roadmap. We are rolling out city by city because clinical quality requires local review, not a worldwide switch flip.
